I%u2019ve been reading a lot of posts in this board regarding Muslims. I do not understand why it hurts people so much when we offer Namaz, read Quran, go to a madarsah.
Many among the people who post in Rediff do not understand what Islam is and what Quran is. They simply read some Muslim bashing messages and believe all the crap that is written particularly about Quran and Prophet Muhammad(Pbuh). Dude if you really think that Quran is a piece of crap why don%u2019t you try to read and find out what it actually tells. It is not a property of Muslims. It is for the Mankind. 99% of the verses of Quran that people quote in Rediff are manipulated to suit the author%u2019s objective of Islam bashing and many others are quoted out of context. Many baseless stories are written about Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) which are purely a creation of a useless idle mind.
I NEVER post any abusive stuff about any of the Hindu Gods or for that matter I don%u2019t abuse any religion. My blood boils when some one writes all sorts of crap about Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh). But still I never post any abusive stuff about any other God in retaliation because this is not what Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) taught.
Comon dude we live in India, we eat the same as Indians do, breath the same air, drink the same water; it is only that we have a different ideology of life. If you do not understand why we do this or why we do that try to read Quran and find out. It is the encyclopedia of the Islam and I am sure you will find more important stuff to read other than %u201Ckilling the Non Muslims.%u201D More importantly you will find out that all these people do in the name of Jihad and Islam is all crap. They are lunatics. Islam has never preached violence nor is Quran a %u201Cterrorist manual%u201D.
Every religion has its own identity. If u think that every one should discard their culture and accept what you people think is right, then u are utterly mistaken. We tend to forget that this is practically impossible. Come on dude who would want to discard his cultural identity and accept some other culture?
There are some people who think that the purpose of their life is to plainly ridicule things that they don%u2019t believe in. If you don%u2019t know why someone's following something, then it doesn't mean they are wrong and you are right. If u r humble brave and are knowledgeable, then try to debate rather than ridiculing. You'll be at peace with your self in the long run.

You make perfect sense Azhar. This is the biggest problem of India. We are full of prejudices without lack of knowledge about others. Its not just religion but caste, language, region etc. etc. Probably someday we will learn to respect basic human rights. Then only we will be an actual democracy.

my friend azhar, your approach is some how moderate.see the views of above of mr.abc. the problem is not prophet mohammad,quran and to live peacefully with his teachings. problems lies with views what above mr. abc said. the views of abc reflects the views of armed jehadi terrorist, who can not tolerate the other community to live. see all over the worl whereever the numbers of muslims increase the armed separatist activites starts. whether in kashmir,checheniyea etc. you moderates feel that other community is hating muhammdans. no we are not hating moderate mohammdans , but we do criticise them that they are living with us but the moderates do not come to join hands openly to oppose the jehadi ideology who shed hatred separatism. hindus very much join hands to oppose violently fanatics within hinduism like tista seetalwad, mulayamsingh and many others. but none from your community actively join hands to oppose these jehadis who are killing hindus and other community in the name of islam. let me know how you moderates alignate with these jehadis? general feeling is that you moderates also silently support these jehadis by not opposing them.

Funny - You yourself are admitting that "you will find more important stuff to read other than killing the Non Muslims" .
You are admitting that your Quran states killing of Non-muslims. So, U live in India U say. Is there any other religion than your Quran that says kill people who don't follow that Particular Religion.
Regarding India - the Parsis knew that hindus are tolerant of other religions and that is why when Islam spread by sword in Persia, most of them decided to take refuge in India. Hindus gave them land and they have lived today peacefully following their religion without Fear.
Regarding why everyone is not understanding your true Quran as you say - is because you have already given the answer " there are more things in Quran other than killing the Non Muslims". Look at Kashmir where the Muslims are in a majority and they have driven away the minority Hindus to live as refugees in Hindu Majority India. Did U ever ask yourself why your Muslims brother have done it. So, don't pose questions to others rather to yourself.

there is no stopping arguments man... why dont we people stop this year.. I have been begging people to cut this crap of hatredness... come-on if partition happened its happend.. what can a true peace loving indian muslim can do about it now? seeing hatredness for us here I feel so bad... I always thought all indians treat others equally... but that does not seem to be the case here... bad people are there in every community but why to generalize it to everyone.. i have not came across any bad person of any community in my life time so far.. all are good to me... but here story seems to be different... people are ready to kill each other here given the chance...

No,man .... leave other things behind.... let's not talk about heinous acts done by Muslims in Iraq,bangladesh,J&K or by Dukhtaran-e-millat. But QURAN,for sure,never says to kill non muslims. and answer me one question. Had there been no religion,ppl wud not have killed each other?? Yes, they wud.... Problem is our animal instict lineage.What about our great Indian politicians.They are there safe and innocent ppl in Nandigram were killed......... dekho bhai mera ek simple funda hai... agar religion nahi to colour sahi.. matlab koi na koi bada reason hoga aapke paas hamesha ek doosre ko marne ke liye... aur nahi to aap finally apne sage bhai ka khoon karenge.... ye ek individual ki psychology hai..... by the way enjoy the day.......

We know how Muslims treated Hinduism, when islam was ruling India. We also understand how you will treat Hinduism and Hindus should God Forbid, India becomes Islamic. Followers of the totalitarian ideology of Islam have got a far better deal in India thanks to Hindu tolerance compared to what Muslims provided to Hindus.
