basically the probelm in tn lies in the fact that present cm's family suffered a lot due to our old system which is followed in the place where he was born and his sisters and most of his relatives were sufferers and present cm doesnot like these forward people at all due to this personal reason. i think personally only he doesnot like hindus even though all his relatives are practising hindus ( i mean who worship hindu gods - you can check mr stalin home where there is small worship place for his wife).

These people suffered probably at that time there was no help for poor in education. Why can't these fellows be more pragmatic in declaring that all those economically weak irrespective his "birth marks" will be given free education. This will automatically cover all the castes/communities who are really poor. What is the use of reservation based on caste like Mr. Maran's family- they are rich many times than all FCs put together and can buy all the schools in TN, if they wish. Power is in their hands but not a saner approach. Jia Hind
