There is absolutely no need of reservations to Christians. They are very well educated, well placed, progressive and well to do. Nowhere they are behind in any of the fields. This act of Karunanidhi is nonsense.
I agree that muslims and backward classes need to be uplifted. Because, they are really behind socially. But not christians.

Well said manuel, Christians are well educated, but most of the Christians are converted people who are very poor. They belong to SC and Backward castes. These people should also be given higher education either through Reservation or by financial support from govt. The end objective is the upliftment of them. Everyone should reap the fruits of Indias Growth.
