Tamilnadu is in the 'forefront' of 'backwardness'. The decision to include so called minorities in the backward class list is just another vote bank politics and it will further divide the society along caste lines, and bring polaisation of votes. The Chief Minister Karunanidhi recently proudly claimed that the state sponsored bandh against supreme court observations on 27% reservation for B.C's was a great success and the PMK leader Ramadoss said that the bandh has created a sort of awareness through out the country. The poor, innocent & truly backward people, for whom the reservation is required /considered, are suffering in silence without realizing that their political masters are taking them for a solid ride in the name of social justice. Nowhere in the world castes & communities queue up for the sake of getting backward status. Nowhere in the world is there a competition to assert backwardness and then to claim we are more backward than you. The 40 years of Dravidian rule has certainly brought Tamil Nadu to the forefront of backwardness. In Tamil Nadu the numerical strength of lawyers, police men, politicians, etc belonging to so called forward Community( read Brahmin community, since all the remaining communities have been bundled in one backward caste or other) is less than 5% and hence the legal fraternity in the state can be called as "100% backward". It is sad & unfortunate that the God fearing people of Tamil Nadu have not woken up from their deep slumber. May God save Tamil Nadu!

TamilNadu is in forefront in almost all the fields when compared to other states as it is forefront in reservation. The Brahmin Rajagopalachari closed 6,000 schools But Kamaraj with guidance from periyar not only opened the schools closed by rajaji but opened 12,000 more schools. Also provided noon meal scheme for the poor students. Because of this TamilNadu is today forefront and forward in all areas like health care etc..
So Brahmins who don't want others to be educated and land in good job are worried about this.

Brahmin Jayalalitha ensured that TN's 69% quota law is made a part of schedule 9 - she even got several honorary titles from all casteist politicians for protecting the "birth right" of reservation of OBCs - including K. Veeramani the DK chief who showered her with praise on the occasion.

What is this 'land in good job'? Improve your English, Arivazhagan. Otherwise even reservation won't help you. You will continue to remain backward. Anyway your mentality itself seems to be backward.

Can you name all the chief ministers of TN before and after Rajaji. You wont even remember their names . Rajaji was a great man who has done a lot to the state and country, and who shall be remembered for a long time to come. He could not stand against the casteist and perverted political forces of T.N, who enjoyed Brahmin bashing for all their ills.
