The scientific community is still not able to predict efectively the happening of such disasters like earth quake and Sunami etc. They shall takethis challange and turn this to an opportinity instead of putting most of the enrgy on inventing WMDs.
A humble request to all that we shall also put our energy on constructive discussion instead of critising in tha name of religion. Any one can be trapped in such disasters and India is no more excpetion after earthquake in Bhuj and Sunami in South India.

Its extremely difficult to predict earthquakes..it happen due to movement of huge land masses(Tectonic plates)..its not even possible to predict when a stick will break when you bend it..we are long way from predicting the failure of tectonic plates..may be in a few centuries time we will be able to.
