Excellent Article and great comments. Emotional outpouring rather than rational thinking. What should India Do? Bomb the shit out of Pakistan ...and expect what in return rose petals? World powers USA and Britain and learning the lesson painfully now for their proactive action...what have they achieved? What has Israel Achieved in its war on Lebanon..nothing but world ridicule, have they won - NO? Military might cannot win proxy wars. If we attack, we will get attacked..at the cost of what, economic ruin, which will lead to internal struggles and civil war, the war mongers will not be able to get out anymore, or they will have no use. The key is to win the fight using brains. India's economy is growing at a faster pace, an economic superpower can win, using brains. Was there any prime minister who was stong willed other than Indira Gandhi, No, and what did BJP achieve after terror attcks on Parliament, receive Musharaf with full state honours, and also fight intruders who occupied our territory - again limited war specific to a region-India also loosing 700 precious lives. They didn't attack Pakistan that time either - why - because they all understand the cost of war.
