Strong-kneed BJP??
by Kalai Selvan on Sep 29, 2006 06:43 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Mr Biswas & Mr Raju. During the kargil crisis the whole world knows that the BJP govt buckled under US pressure & did not go ahead with their military plans to smash pakistan. Also during the famous kandahar tamasha, the so called "strong-kneed" BJP govt paid millions of rupees of tax payers money to the black mailing terrorists and let confirmed killers go scott free from indian jails. Man, there can't be one set of rules for the BJP & another for the congress!

Mr. Kalai, Kargil had to be a local conflict, the possibility of an all out conventional war with pakistan is ruled out for ever as both India and pakistan now have nuclear capabilities. I am not supporting the BJP government or their policies. At the end of the day if you look closely enough, the two parties have dealt with terrorism in pretty much the same way.
