When our own defence minister believes that Islam has enriched our culture, it is no wonder that India is in her current global position- that of a complete nonentity in the international community, with an increasing problem of terrorist activity within her borders. The only reason why India maintains such a cordial relationship with the US is because we refuse to do anything in relation to Pakistan. Perhaps Mr. Mukherjee needs to revise his history to see the real impact of India's 'open society' policy.

agree with sneha..mr mukherjee is playing to the gallery, being politically correct..quite typical of Indian leaders..beating around the bush and not confronting Islamic radicalism or even hving the guts to admit it..USA, a newcomer to the Jihad game has learnt far more in a few years than Indians have learnt in centuries...quite understandable, Indians are runners, they run away from Sind, Bengal, Punjab & Kashmir..probably their idea of peaceful coexistence would be to run away from Mumbai as well..fast becoming a terror hub.
