It starts with us

The basic issue is are we willing to share thia planet with the rest of nature.
At first glance, the Indian population does not seem to be capable or intersted in doing so. It starts with the garbage dumped into the street or your neighbours yard. Further, we pollute our water resources withiout any concern, as witnessed by the soft drink issue, shrimpfarming in Andhra, or rampant fertiliser use without controlling any runoff.

The issues abound, but the fundamental problem starts with each individual. For example, the people who leaked national secrets to USA for some measly jobs are an example of the self centerdness that abounds in this countrty. So also, the corrupt politicans, beuriocrats, even movie stars who manipulate the system, to get favors and shortcuts for their families or sycophants. When one thinks only about "how to beat the system" or being " chaalu", then the system gets destroyed, even nature.

Theporblem with nature is that it really does not care about one's puny self as demonstrated int the Tsunami, Hurricanes and other calamities.

The reason for such a high place given to nature
