Cruelty and abuse in our blood
by Janardhanan on Sep 29, 2006 10:10 AM   Permalink

Abuse of animals is in our blood, it has even found place in our language. We say that "children nowadays are carrying schoolbags like donkeys"; if someone is deliberately made to face unfair situations, we call him a "scapegoat" or "bali ka bakra".

Sorry to say, but we have no idea of how to actually help wildlife. The maximum we can do is minimize our interference with wildlife (and I swear that even this is impossible for greedy humans, so over-ambitious that they do not have second thoughts over razing forests for profit).

Truly speaking, Nature would have done much better without humans. Humans are useful only to humans and a headache to all other species in the world. We are also a headache to nature as such.

Look at all the burning environmental issues, pollution, ozone depletion, global warming, ice cap melting etc .. All are due to human intervention.

There has never been an enhancement or improvement in nature after humans evolved. Even recent scientific study tells that "speciation", the ability for diversification has been affected in a bad manner due to human intervention.
'Agent Smith had rightly quoted"Human beings as a species is a parasite, a virus'.
