TOUGH TALKING
by Hanif Mohammed on Sep 19, 2006 12:43 PM   Permalink

I am sure, Musharaf must have gone back laughing all the way to Pakistan. Yes, we need our PM to be talking tough, as its proved beyond doubt, the intentions of Pakistan in the past. Yes, we need to keep the talks going, or it would result in more bloodshed. We have to hijack the current situation to our advantage, as Pakistan is viewed by the world as sponsor of global terrorism. Soft approach will buy them more time to re-group - we got to talk tough and fast.

The solution to quell violence in J&K is for Government to make this state economicaly strong, when people will have no time to waste thinking of seperation !! Money given as aid, should be well spent on essential infra-structure and encourage private investments in all sectors. Such solutions will automatically, flip the feeling of doubt in the minds of Kashmiris, and favour India.
