Bad Karma and Good Leaders?
by Karma on Sep 06, 2006 06:52 PM   Permalink

Dear fellow citizens,
While I was reading this article like most of you a terrible feeling of angst and helplessness engulfed me. These thugs like Babloo and Salem who deserve to be behind the bars or hanged for their wrong doings and a hardocre criminal background, will be self elected politicians in future due their policitical backing and clout looks like a big slap on our true Democracy. It's not that is happenning for the first time and there would be Goonda elements donning khadi sitting in parliament, fighting & pulling chappals and sometime drafting bad policies for the country, but the big question is that for how long we can be a silent observers most of the time? Do we deserve this? A pessimist would say , YES as majority of us are irresponsible selfish citizens and bad society can only haves bad governance so accept it as your fate. An optimist view would be that there are few good crops between this weed, only thing is we have to nourish the crops and take out all the weeds.
As an open forum lets discuss and find out possible ways or mediums to do that. One solution can be- Start with ourselves, let's be first modal responsible citizens. Good Karma is the only Dharma
