Bravo, Laxmidhar! And I thought all the NRIs were insensitive "Have-all"s not in any way connected with the grave ground realities of India. You prove that there's more to India than just software, soap operas and showbiz. News items like these are just meant to divert public psyche from the real issues. Why- nobody talks about this great country with it's greater rate of Economic progress keeps being embarassed about it's dropping male-female ratios, increasing number of people wallowing below poverty line and forever regressive record as far as human rights violations are concerned. The issues that concern these yuppies are films, soap operas, prices of cosmetics and computers!
