It is amazing how hypocritical Indians can be, no wonder it reflects in the state of our society both in India (politics, bureaucracy, society in general)and everywhere else for that matter. I wonder if the lady who thinks this is "a small thing" has spared time to comprehend what happens to a minor who has been abused. I hope the lady has kids of her own and then realizes the gravity of this crime

This is so typical - everyone seems willing to sentence these guys to Gitmo/death row without really needing to know any more legal deatails. I don't see why you have to hang your head in shame as if these were the first Indians to commit a crime. Or as if only Indians were lured by the Perverted Justice/Dateline NBC stings. There might be some level of entrapment involved here and its upto the courts to decide if the sting stayed within legal parameters or was designed to entice a crime. Also everyone is entitled to a defence, and just because these morally reprehensible guys are Indians doesn't mean they need to receive preferentially severe treatment.
