I must say you are not well informed. Do you have any idea where Reunion island is on the world map? Do you know it is a part of France and that France is a developed country?
Who told you that there were 200 deaths on this island related to this disease. Over a lakh people are affected by this disease in the last one year but there were no deaths. Check the facts first.
Rediff...you are a news portal...and don't you have social responsibility to check the facts before you create panic by publishing chikungunya is fatal?
IMA hasn't declared the deaths in Kerala are due to chikungunya. And chikungunya is not a mortal disease ...atleast for now.
