Thanks Rajeev for giving an overall, proud perspective of the South!! Telugu was court language even in Maharashtra, Tirumala Nayak built the beautiful temples of Madurai! Stocky Tamil boys came with the English to save the Kannada King's throne, Tamil is proudly the national languages in Singapore and Malaysia and spoken widely. Kerala has flooded the aroma of spices through out the world, since centuries, so also kalari n God's own culture. Marathi was prevalent from the south to the north once. Karnataka crowned it all with her milk, silk, honey,gold, verdant forests and flowing rivers. What is important, we are one of the oldest civilisation and we did a lot of good to who ever came our way.
Let us not look at Rajeev's bird's eye perspective with post mortem eyes. This peace and humility I have not experienced anywhere in the world. In years all will meld, as it is now there are Bengalis speaking fluent Tamil, Punjabis fluent Kannada and so on. Let us learn to enjoy each others food, language, Borders and heroics are mostly a figment!! Let the fragrance of the sandalwood pervade every where. More power to your armstrong, Rajeev.. Cheers
