Honble Supreme court has to take the following points in to consideration: 1.A problem of 50 years can not be solved in 1-2 years 2.Solution to one problem should not lead to another and equaly big problem 3.A law that adversely affects lakhs of people and requires paramilitary force to implement needs to be reviewed 4.Trade itself is a "Legitimate" activity (maybe the place can be questioned at this moment) and as such the law should not be instrumental in hampering the trade 5.For the "illegitimate" place, multiple parties i.e. Government, MCD, DDA and traders are equaly responsible. Any judgement should punish all the parties and should not discriminate
In the nutshell, trade should be allowed to continue till adequate alternate commercial space at reasonable rates can not be provided for relocation of traders as continuation of trade and commerce is in the interest of everyone.

Dear sanjiv, I read yours comment I want to tell you that the problem is not occered in last 50 years it is come on light last 10-20 years before 50 years delhi population is only 7 lakh and now 1.50 crore.
second if we respect to law they why are not traders, the meximum traders are very corupt they encroach the govt footpath, chhajja, and also income tax and sales tax. they do not want to cashmemo which you purchased.
third if anybody did the unlawfull offence they must face the punishment.
