Hello All, I think its time all the parties sit together and look for a truce. The fact of the matter is that no one (govt, traders & judiciary) are innocent in this issue. Govt. - Where was this govt when their own officials and Babus took hefty bribes from these very own traders for keeping the business going. Whether it was a one time bribe or a regular entries to the bribe cash registers, the babus enjoyed all the money and took benefit frm the power they had. Traders - Now, the very traders who are staging these protests on the pretext of their Rozi Roti are not innocent enough to be spared. The are equally (and i wud say more responsible) for the current situation than the Govt. A person who gives the bribe is if not more but equally responsible for the crime than the one who is taking it. Also, consider the other ways these traders are still duping the govt. Think about TAX EVASION(service, Income, VAT etc), Think about all the power theft they indulge in. Some are actually paying as per Household energy rates while they shud be paying as per commercial rates. Judiciary- The fault frm the Judiciary's end is only that it STILL FAILS TO SEE THE ACTUAL SITUATION.Contd

follow the chandigarh pattern. there is enough space provided in every sector for shops and malls. roads and platforms are never encroached and people are highly cooperative. as far as rehabiliation of traders concerned, the political parties who ruled delhi for the period, should shell out from their party funds to help traders. there is huge accumulation of funds over the years by various national and regional parties and no agency has been able to control them.
