If George fernandes was'nt joking why did'nt the then govt do anything about it and what were Mr Raman and other "so alarmed" patriotic guys doing then? Not even a whisper from them!

It is people like Ahimsa Anand who are willing to blindfold themselves to realities.
Sonia & team did a wardance when Fernandes made his remarks based on the intelligence reports that he was recieving. They wanted his resignation. They wanted his apologies.
Nehru who had a global vision, was unfortunately blind to realities of politics. He tried to be a visionary. If it had not been for Sardar Patel we would not have a united territorial India.
VKK Menon was made a scapegoat for Nehru's dilly dallying over how to deal with his failure of "Hindi-Chini bhai-bhai".
The Chinese have more than enough space for its increasing population. What they don't have & what they want is an access to a year round port in the southern hemisphere. This is a minimum requirement for an emerging super power.
It is with this in mind that they annexed Tibet & destroyed the influence of the Dalai Lama. They want Nepal. They have managed to make it a secular kingdom through their Maoists.
If we are not careful they will cut us off on the eastern side & we will lose one fourth of our states.
But people like Sonia & her lackey Manmohan will welcome our enemies, afterall she is a Nehru family member!!!
