In US, they have even evolved a new English word called 'Bangalored'. (i.e.) when someone says 'I am bangalored', it means that he has lost is job because of off shoring it to India'.
This is the impact that Bangalore has created in terms of off shoring and software exports.
It is better to retain the same name, even though there is nothing in the name.
