Why India must act in Sri Lanka
by K.V.Paulson on Dec 01, 2006 08:25 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

If Slobodan Milosovich can be tried and Saddam Hussain can be sentenced to death for atrocities against humanity, almost all the Sri Lankan rulers including Ranil Wickramasinghe and Mahinda Rajapakse should be tried in International Court of Justice, Hague, Nethrlands for killing hundreds of thousands of tamils under their leadership. Though Ranil looks "pro-Indian" his hands are soaked with tamil blood.

Like all the leaders, even Prabhakaran should be sentenced to death for killing Rajiv Gandhi. Let Srilankan Tamils realise that as long as Prabhakaran is alive, there will not be any peace in Lanka and India will not be interested in taking any stance. Let Prabhakaran surrender and see how the situation changes. This is for the benefit of both Sinhalese and Tamils in Srilanka. Don't Instigate Srilankan Tamilians by suuporting them instead put some sense into their minds and not ask for seperate country but getting autonomy for their region instead.
