50 Years of betrayl
by Sreekanth Reddy K on Nov 01, 2006 03:16 PM   Permalink

It's a shameful day in the history of telangana where the merger of coastal andhra (Which was part of madras state),Rayalseema (Was part of karnataka) and Hyderabad state (which was an independent state already) took place.

There was a big conspiracy behind this merger and the following factors could be attributed as the main reasons.

1. When the coastal andhra got seperated from madras the state was in total bankrupt and not in a position to pay salary for the employees. They need a readymade state and obvious choice was hyderabad.
To add a bit they ran their state under the tents or leased building in a town called kurnool before this merger.

2. Telanagana has the major river belt of Godavari and krishna. In the mask of common language they want to acquire these resources and got succeed.

Apart from the water telangana is rich in natural resources like coal, mines, etc.Even today all these resources are taken over to other part of andhra pradesh and industries are established over there leading to unemplyement and naxalism.

Even today telangana people are getting exploited in all aspects. The only solution is re-formation of telangan state without any blood bath.
