There seems to be a consesnsus here that Brahmins are socially forawrd and others backward. Is this presumption correct?
Look around you. How many Brahmins wield power? How many backward class people do (especially Yadavs in the context of North India). You'll find that Brahmins are the most non-violent and peaceful group. They don't even arouse respect because of their poverty. They don't arouse fear because of their powerlessness. And you call them socially forward?
