Reservations a farce In T.N
by D. Senthil Kumar on May 30, 2006 02:09 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The Concept of 69 % reservations In T.N is a farce which has been perpetuated by parties for decades. It is only the creamy layer which gets through this quota and those economically powerful manage to put heir wards through best schools and hence it leads to a vicious cycle of the same bunch of people cornering all the seats.

Has there been a single study done to find out the efficacy of the system or to find out what is impact of the economic status of the candidate who has benefitted from reservation. Sadly, None.

The caste problem in T.N is very simple, except the brahmins all castes in T.N belong to either BC,MBC or OBC, so what is the problem even if you have 100 % reservations, nobody is going to raise a stink.Definitely, not the brahmins.

its true brahmins will not rake upthe issue coz most of them are already abroad, doing well with their careers. thanx to reservation in TN.Secondly they are few in numbers and not as fierce as North brahmins.I pity those poor brahmin families in TN as they dont have anybody to look for.If nothing is done for them, they might turn reckless and its not a good sign.I am sure all this casteist parties knew one reckless brahmin now ( jayalalitha).Let them not create many.
