There are two simple ways to nail down our cynical, decaying geriatric politicians playing havoc with the future of the country.
One, we should make it mandatory that whenever these politicians have to engage a lawyer, they should engage only a lawyer who benefitted from the quota they champion for.
Two, when they are critically ill, it should be legally obligatory for them to go only to a Doctor who qualified through quota.
For instance, Karunanidhi, a die-hard supporter of reservation, always engages an upper-caste lawyer to plead for him in Courts.
And V.P.Singh, the messiah of Mandal either goes abroad or AIIMS or such renowned hospitals where only the best Doctors are available and none of whom is a beneficiary of his quota largesse.
This is not hypocrisy, this is perfidy to the country.This is mortgaging the country's future for a few abject votes. Remember, V.P.Singh never won an election after he implemented the Mandal Commission Report. The IT revolution that has shaken the world, is a youth revolution, as Arun Shourie rightly put it. They cannot stomach it. They want eternal poverty and unemployment. fertile ground for them to prosper.
