the deeds of freedom fighters were extremely noble and selfless and as a result, they are immortalized.

though heroes are seldom forgotten, every generation demands new heros/icons for everyone to look up to.

with changing times, it is impossible to relate to what was done in the past. the youth have grown up in different circumstances and their perspective is naturally different.

i do not know about film stars, but what is wrong in drawing inspiration from cricketers? people like dravid stand for values like perseverance, team spirit , leadership and patience. they hold good in any generation.

if a simple game can rally the support of a whole nation even for a brief moment, i don't think it can be shunned as mere entertainment.

and what exactly are the "limits of ambition"? as long as your goals and means are honorable, there should be know ceiling-reach for the stars!
