Nice article. Everytime one listens to the TV news in India or read Indian newspapers one cringes at the absolute depths to which the media has fallen. I mean should an actor's second marriage be a 'breaking news'? This state of affairs will no doubt help create a shallow public, like majority of the Americans, who, having been fed on inane domestic and local news for years together, now are unable to attach value to any real news.
