I really doubt

Most of the Homos must have become so due to child-abuse or pedophiles. These people in turn try to abuse others. Genetically, there is nothing that says one will become hetero or homo. This sort of abnormal behavior is pretty common in Western and Middle-eastern socities where childmolestation is very common. Though in India different sort of issues are there related to sexual behavior, Homosexual was not a historically a prominent one in India especially in South India. North India due to Islamic invasion they might have got used to such abnormalities. In South such concepts are totally alien.

i really cant agree with u. there may not be a strong genetic basis for homosexuality but a genetic basis cant be completely ruled out either. So its a mix of genetic and environmental factors. Its easy to say that this is not very common in india especially south of india when u dont the real numbers. Everything has been there in our society for a long time like the West or Middle East -Its just that all these topics have been swept under the carpet and we never knew that they even existed. these people are not abnormal and i think its perfectly fine for people to have their preferences.
