Bargaining Hard
by Ravi on Mar 09, 2006 05:08 PM   Permalink

The deal with the US has been stated to be in our interest. But in our negotiation process, why does India not try to talk to China as an alternate supplier of fuel.Afterall the Pakistanis have been having nuclear reactors built by China and still rank as frontline ally with the US.
As true believers in Non allignment we should have done that.In my opinion this would have brought our enormous buyer power to the table.
Curiously, we find Pakistan doing precisely this.
