churchill was a terrorist too
by manoj sharma on Jul 02, 2006 06:44 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

i can find some ppl comparing netaji subhas bose and his INA to LTTE and calling netajibose and bhagat singh as terrorists. why? bcos netaji and bhagat singh took up arms to fight their cause. these ppl want the same law applied here as to LTTE.

right.

winston churchill fought hitler with arms. so he must be called a terrorist. george washington fought the occupying british army with arms. so he must be called a terrorist too.

same laws should apply to britain and usa too right?

so kapoor, ravi and such ppl should first tell these countries to declare churchill and washingotn as terrorists.

also india should give independence to kashmir and also to khalistan. britain should also concede the demands of IRA. just like sri lanka should concede ealam. same laws should apply everywhere.

kapoor and ravi need to emphasise this.

yes 2+2=4 thats straight forward answer if not proved otherwise! a legitimate government having a war with a legitimate government is not a terrorist act as long as the other legitimate government has a legitimate reason to fight! further more the UNITED NATIONS head office do not have a definiton for the word "terrorist". the decision has been left for the individual countries to decide who is terrorist and who is not a terrorist.
when it comes to the government of srilanka and ltte, the world has been left to choose between a evil and a devil, a legitimate government and legitimate freedom fighters,a majority legitimate government and a third class minority citizens.
many countries have banned ltte just because of their land of the law on terrorist not because ltte is a direct threat to the west! the more tamils of ceylon are living in the west than what it is in india.the srilankan government has always acted against the interest of india unlike the ltte. the IPKF was welcomed by the tamils later turned against the IPKF due to human rights violations commited by IPKF. if india can forgive pakistan, surely the people of india can forgive us and the ltte.

correct you are tigress20!!

a legitimate government having a war with a legitimate government is not a terrorist act as long as the other legitimate government has a legitimate reason to fight.

the british govt was not a legitimate govt of india. therefore fighting against it cannot be called terrorism.

and george washington's case was not about a legitimate govt fighting against another legitimate govt at all. washington was fighting to remove the british from america. during the war washington was not the elected elader of america. he became president only after winning the war.

hitler had not invaded britain for churchill to start fighting him. he invaded britain only after churchill started fighting him.

you have said that more tamils of ceylon are living in the west than in india. so it is more imp for the west to forgive LTTE than for india to do so.

so plz go and tell usa that either forgive LTTE or otherwise be fair and call washington as terrorist. plz go and tell england to forgive LTTE or otherwise be fair and call churchill as terrorist.

if they listen to you then india will also listen to you. bcoz that will prove that law is same for all.
