Photgraphs not allowed in musuems

Your article is fantastic and I completely agree with all that you hate about India. But I have a difference of opinion on one point. I know that photography is not allowed in some temples and musuems. But I think the reason is that most of the artifacts are bound to be slowly destroyed with much exposure to light and even sound. In musuems abroad, they have such artifacts under lock and key, usually in think glass cases so that they are safe. But thats not true in India. You cannot put some temples in glass cases. For example, Ajanta and Ellora has famous cave paintings that are vulnerable to light and sound. The only way to prvent damage is to stop photography or stop people from visiting these places !
