Claude Arpi is right on all counts, although I had not realised the paranoia for maps and photographs was so hateful; but why not add the obvious things to hate: Filth and lack of civic sense, crowds and lack of privacy, lethargy and a fatalistic attitude to accept the present as fate, etc., etc...
The next step is what are we doing about it? Continue hating it and lethargically accept these as part of Karma!

Look if you dont like India then I think you should think in terms of trying for a citizenship of Claude Arpi's country. We would all be better of if you did that
