The Army does not allow people to leave the force without paying the cost of training under an amortization policy which is ratified by the Secretary of Defence . This officer wanted to leave but was told to pay up and as she did not have the money , she had no other option to stay in the golden cage . Her father proposed that their house be sold , but as she was worried about the future of her brother , so she quietly suffered.
When you join the force , remember that once you get in , there is no way to get out . If you are allowed to go , you will lose around twice what you have ever earned in the force. Its like a jail and I know what she was going through.
