I don't agree with all your views. BC students are not treated on par with FC students even at the school level by teaching staff (majority comes from FC). I have experienced that in school. The scenario is far worst in rural domain except few exceptions. Social background use to be not so encouraging for BC's where malnutrition, illiterate atmosphere, struggle to meet basic needs, overcast the desire to move ahead and excel and that spew the seeds of poor confidence and discouragement. Result: they are not treated with dignity and respect throughout their life anyway. The way to refinement is by association and exposure to light. Ofcourse, this means sacrifice to FC to some extent but is very much needed to bring back to correct the distorted social equilibrium.
