When I reached platform, the announcement being made was that due to some usual failure at Borivili station, trains are running late by 10-15 mins. The train started at 8pm and should have reached Mira Road by 8:53, instead it was stuck between Santa Cruz and Khar at that time. After crawling for 1-2 minutes, it will stop for 5-10 minutes for no reason whatsoever and reached Mira Road at 10:30pm. Trains on slow track fared better and atleast 10 trains passed our "fast" train and reached destination hour before us. There were no trains on adjoining tracks or ahead, why cudnt they divert to slow track or move ahead? Seems that WR staff will never learn and must be sacked or fined heavily to make them perform even the normal stuff.
This was the first shower of season and that too not heavy by our standards and yet life came to standstill. Seems that Govt has pocketed 80-90% of the budgeted 1500 crores in their pocket and this year will be even worse than the previous one.
Nothing ever improves in Maharashtra, we will become the most pitiable and poorest state soon. What's our "young dynamic MP" from South Mumbai doing about it?
