Flooding
by Jacob E. Abraham on Jun 01, 2006 05:06 PM   Permalink

Rubbish. All the 'tall talks' by the so called authorities are as rubbish as the rubbish on Mumbai streets!

The first rain itself gave shivers to the residents who have barely recovered from the shocks of 26/7.

Indranarayan street - off Linking Road at Santacruz West, was flooded knee deep, water trapped - like in a saucer, between Linking Road & Tagore Road. This street is supposed to have got a new drainage canal this year... but alas!

"India Shining"? Make it happen on a rainy day too. Take this as a challenge, or else, move out!

If you 'yet' cannot build roads, move out. Out-source this work to the ones who know their job.

What's in store ahead? We wish we could skip the monsoons this year and allow the administration to learn to finish their tasks during the extended year. My rating: 0/10.
