We do not know the mind and character of a third person as much as we know about ourselves. We know for sue that the Sri lankan Government can not trust Inida , consideraint its present composition. Sri Lanka should sort out its problem by itself or shoud resort to the help of some powerful third party which is not nearer to it and has not in any way connected to its problems , but woud certainly work against terorism. It should aniot involve any party that will have an axe to grind in the prolems it is facing . This will apply to all countries . Just as we do not want the interference of a third party to mediate in our problem, we shall not interfere with the problems of others too , particularly when we we have parties with confklicting interests and fissiparous tendencies .We do not have a strong Government to take any respectable and effective decision even in any our matters. Why should we poke our nose elsewhere?
