Pathetic response
by Gautam on Jul 27, 2006 12:00 PM   Permalink

One needs to learn from past mistakes. India needs to be governed like a corporate. After the tragedies of the past years starting from the 1993 blasts, to the deluge of 26/7 and the current blasts, there is not a single body or person who appears to be in charge. Look at the Mayor Giuliani of NY post 9/11, he was in complete charge and a professional approach was apparent post 9/11. We are still struggling to stabilise in terms of our response. I am sure the terrorists can strike at will at any place of their willing within India.

Look at the resposne of the muslim organisations. There were 2 Lac people assembled in Mumbai to protest the Danish cartoons supposedly blasphemous of Islam. How many came out to protest the blasts? Innumerable fatwas issued against many people for various reasons, but not a single fatwa against the terrorists.

And lastly there appears to be a systematic divisive force working against India and its recent economic progress. Firstly, there was the reservation bill, then the blasts to engineer a horizontal and vertical divide. And there are many suckers in India who can fall prey to these evil designs.

God save the country!
