absolutely agree! its interesting how the same piece of news can be projected in twisted ways. Wonder how this insensitivity has affected the parents of those working in call centers who now must be spending sleepless nights and praying for their child's safety.

Absolutely true. The biggest enemy of indias growth is media which want to sensationalize non trivial things. As you said this type of murder can happend anywhere. Even in a village these things happen. But that wont make the headlines.
I dont know when media will start exposing politicians as did by Tehelka. If people start reading newspaers or atleast stop reading newspapers/blogs/online news and stop watching T.V which sensationalize news, India can move forward a great deal.

The fact PBO employment provides and ambience that is not safe for girls. Learning english and doing jobds in It industries might b e good . But aping the degenerated culture of the west is definitely not . We too should have been like animals in the earlier stages of civilization. but we have come a long way off from the barbaric nomadic stage of life. The western culture is cates to the senses. gives a free play to the senses and the main goal of life is to enjoy all tat te senses have to offer . The very practice if circumcision among chritians and Muslims , that is acultural to Inidina , is based on the principle to avoid veneral disease which are sure to occur in a society that was given to plural marriages .Inidian culture requires the senses to be contrilled and so had their norms conducive to it. But temptation eing strong and attractive we have fallen a prey to foreign cultures na so have increased te risks to the lives of our people. What is happenning in the lives of youngsters working in BPOs. Idiotic parents who are ater money allow te culture to rot.Boys who ape western culture should see their women roaming about with boy friends.
