Improvement without reservation
by raghavan on Jul 26, 2006 06:39 AM   Permalink

Untouchability in the first place was linked to hygeine and those wo wer in uncleanand were kept away . Since the society exploited the weaker section engaged in unclean jobs and allowed them no time to keep themselvs clean and no leisure and treatd them animals , untouchabilty stuck to the name of the job and the families who had to engage in tem by v ofrce of circumastances ,So it has come to stay in the mind of of he people . But those who are neat and clean and are not know to belong to any particular caste do ar not treated as untouchables ny where . but if his caste comes to be know , thoug his not treated openly as an untouchable , an aversion is lokely to be prsent in theminds and behaviour of the people . so caste should be readicated for all purposes. the socially backward and economically poor shouldb treated alike and special fecilities should be provided to them for improvig their abilities and potetntials . So also he people of the underprevileged class classshould be provided with adequate training to keep theselvs and thier surroundings clean and shoukld be provided sufficient funds to improve their the quality of work with adequat emodern equipments. No reservation
