Blocking websites

Absolutely. This is not even questionable. For country's security reasons, whatever govt. asks has to be cooperated. You can question banning Toor dal and onions and Tomatoes, not security. It is ridiculous that this is brought on forum

Hey dude,
Haven't you ever heard/read/seen '1984'? This will be first step to an authoritarian state i.e. curbing freedom on the basis of national security

Sreekant,

Your logic leaves me amazed. Since you're advocating blocking anything that terrorists 'can use', how about blocking the Internet and all email? Terrorists certainly use phones - should we ban the use of phones as well? What if they write letters by hand? Shall we ban all postal services as well? At this rate, we will end up banning all forms of communication, including speech.

Please reflect.

Vikram.
