Strike Back Unitedly

Terrorism has become a global menace. It needs to be fought unitedly and globally. I suggest that a global body should be set up with equal membership of all countries seriously wanting to fight terrorism. The body should be independent of UN or any other politically motivated institutions and develop its own laws regardless of cast creed or religion and only based on universal human values. It should have authority to cut across the man made boundaries of different countries, the benefits of which are being fully utilised by the terrorists. This body should have the authority to decide who is a terrorist and who is fighting for liberation of his country. This body should also have the authority to instruct any country to correct itself if there is indeed a human rights violation. Fight against terrorism in driblings will be useless waste of energy and resources. In these days of globalisation a global policy against terrorism is absolutely imperative otherwise it will take such proportions that it will destroy the human race.

It doesn't happen that way, there can be no global solution to this unless there is an initiative from our side, we have to set right our house first, no one will help a coward, the brave have many followers. We are suffering with this scourge for decades, with our impotent leaders lacking courage to face & challenge. Offlate countries which are victims of terrorism are realising the potential threat from this ticking bomb. Nations have their own interests like the Arab countries, who are friendly with us and are equally chummy with Pakistan, Dawood and the terrorists targeting us. Dawood & other terrorists operate and execute their deadly plans from the safe dens in these countries with the financial help doled out in the name of wahabi islam. We have been competing to be diplomatically correct with these nations, always showing the other cheek, swallowing all the insults heaped (Saudi King didn't think twice about hurting our sentiments, with his no for a visit to Rajghat). When you can't stand on your knees how can you expect the others to stand for you? These countries deal with USA, their sworn enemy in a different way. Beggars cant be choosers, Indians are destined tosuffer
