Good thoughts that, however we require tremendous political will to carry out even one suggestion. As long as we carry the garb of "secularism", India can never deal effectively with these terror attacks. USA is a predominantly christian country, Israel is a jew country, what is India, hindu with several religious minorities, caste minorities not to speak of economic backwards. How will be gain the courage to implement any of these.
We have TADA, politicians do not want it, because invariably the first victims of such ruthless legislation is the politicians kin. We need to spend money on enhancing the security cover in India. Politicians do not want to spend money because it is ostensibly seen as anti minority and therefore a potential vote bank loss.
Frankly Indians do not have the guts to deal with raw face of terror, therefore, we overdo the helping bit to mask our incompetency and our inability to garner courage.
Indians never demand excellence in everything because Indians are never able to deliver excellence in anything they do. They are a prevaricating lot.

Correctly said, we need strong political will. But what to be done with TRAITORS LIKE MULAYAM SINGH YADAV, who says some members of SIMI might be terrorist, but not the entire organisation. This clearly indicates that SIMI is being given political cover in UP ( and when the blast preparations were going on, SIMI was growing in UP and other like states). He is a perfect example of Political dirt that is ruining India. India has a history of political traitors starting from Jaichand, and they are killing us even today. Now enough is enough, I believe this type of vote bank leaders are greatest enemies of India, far more dangerous than Pakistan and SIMI. Prime Minister Dr. Singh is going to talk about terror in G8 summit. If I were there, I would tell him that you don't need international support for controlling the dirty leaders of your country, who are the biggest reason for this terrorism. Also, international community is not going to tell India what to do. Look at the way US, UK and Israel are fighting terrorism. Indians can copy them in everything else from constitution to computers, but not in the way of fighting terrorism.

I Guess we should follow Israel in this regard. Its not about religion but about PATRIOTISM.
For a patriot his country is first and rest is next. So dear Indians lets put our country first and religion next and fight with our biggest enemy Pakistan. India and Pakistan never become friends. So forget about peace talk and just attack Pakistan. There should be two blasts in Pakistan for one in our country. Let them(Pakis) realize what an innocent human life costs.

Absolutely true , its really nice to see atleast somebody have guts to say . Same thoughts I wrote to two leading newspapers and they didn't showed courage to to put it on their website . In our country the mentality that supports these terorists is most dangerous . This handicapped goverment don't want POTA and TADA that shows they are supporting it indirectly . They are worried about their vote bank . Very first thing goverment should have willingness to do this but this so called secular peoples will give grants to the religous institution those are emering as factories to produce terrorists . Its really pity to see we are feeding these mindless creatures with our hard earned money . we will cry for few days after blasts . Our coward politicains will point to pakistaan and again they will pour money to help and open borders for buses , trains , earhquake affected peoples and terrorist will come to india using these ways . they know very well that there are peoples who will protect them even if they are caugh ,because they belong to a perticular religion . thats the story . We shld think how to demolish this internal support .

A country that elects impotents like Manmohan Singh, Shivraj Patil and Arjun Singh to lead the country and a foreigner to supervise these loafers should expect terror, bombs, naxalism and what not. We sealed the fate of those killed in the balsts the day we voted for these bunch of rogues. Why complain now?
There are no quick solutions here. Our system needs deep changes which will be painfully slow, while more bombings and terror continue. The least we can do to speed up the change is to VOTE for the least evil and the least "lutcha" politician in the next election, irrespective of which party he/she belongs to. Call me cynical, I don't see any other way.
If we continue to vote based on our caste or religion, we will continue to DESERVE the bombs and the terrorism. If any of us voted based on such considerations in the previous election, he/she has no right to complain about the bombing now; because he/she is directly responsible for it.

Well ...great thoughts.... I feel there is no point in we common people (Helpless) boiling blood about all these issues. Who are supposed to take action against this...politicians...well these barbarians exploded bombs in Indian parliament right under ..but what happened...nothing.
Let any ministry change...nothing is going to happen...we all indians are proud of our past heroes and kings...but is there one indian who is proud any of the current so called leaders...I have stopped voting... and in my life i never will...what for....
One humble request don't pull army or Police into this because if they do something meaningful, there is a lot of organisations to Sue them..Amnesty internation...Human Rights commisions and a long list...
