I think the upper crust who follow the Sensex and international business and are worried about SEZs and Black Label whisky (preferavly from the PM's plane) and page 3 montages and six-gun security staffs will make some token noises as they embrace the Brazilian economy.
In the meanwhile the world is getting polarized between the haves (terrorists included) and the have-nots (those who have to carry the burdern of showing that Mumbai is a resilient city by their helplessness). The world as we knew it ended long ago. We have to be the Brave New World everyday without a token of protection (on the roads, in air or from the seas) from our elected leaders
I think we are ready for a bold leader who will worry about the common man instead of the way George Bush thinks about the way we think about Pervez Musharraf.
Do we really require a World Bank employee as Prime Minister and an Italian novice as a leader of a historic political party? Can't the opposition do more positive things instead of serving every one else's political purposes?
