It is the curse of this country that a pre-eminent and world renowened surgeon like Dr.Venugopal can be humiliated in this manner by a puny upstart like Anbumani Ramadoss, who had made a big show of himself being a man of medicine the other day. It is all the more unfortunate that the Prime Minister of the country is utterly helpless to do anything about it; solely in the selfish interest of coilition politics! It was no secret that Anbumani, who in all probability had come through the reservation quota route, was at loggerheads with Dr. Venugopal who was all in favour of merit and excellence. C.mohan
