To all those who are trying to argue about this, please try to understand the reason for visiting sabarimala. One is supposed to go through a 41 day vow to have a ascetic's life, giving up the daily comforts of family life(that includes sexual interest too). People are supposed to wear only black, are not supposed to shave, not to eat non-veg,supposed to have bath and pray both in the morning and evening before any food is partaken etc. Not allowing women is part of this as this will destroy the ascetic life thay are trying to achieve. Now can any of you honestly tell me that they will not be excited if a young female touches them. Even the great vishwamitra was tempted. Please note that this temple is there to allow this pratice(which iam sure many doctors would agree is a good thing to practice to spice up your married life). If at all anybody needs to do anything, it is to ensure that only those who had completed the 41 days vows should enter the temple. Do you know that this is one of the few temples in India that allows people of all faith to visit it.

Mr. Das, How should I tell people like you again & again. You all are like "Ulta Matkaas" in which no water can flow. Understand the real meaning of why these traditions & dont just vomit out the things that you have mugged up. Parrots can also mug up the shastras. But understanding it is not the job of Popats like you. You will just keep on screaming traditions, customs, ascetic life & what not. Remember Sant Kabirs famous Dohas. & Oh, can you explain how by wearing black or not shaving for 41 days bring me more near to GOD.!!!!. I await your reply on this post.
