Dear friends,

I doubt whether all the readers who support Jayamala's contention have ever gone to Sabarimala or understand the story of Lord Ayyappa. Only persons who go to Sabarimala as devotees can know the real power, vibrations they experience in sabarimala once they go on strict Vrata for 41 days. There is complete sanctity and the daily rituals in the temple gives real happiness and peace. It is the age-old tradition not to allow women of some age group and this should be respected. This is not about equality issue. If women want to go Sabarimala, they can go at the age it is allowed. They are always welcome. But why to make this as an issue. As a true devotee of Lord Ayyappa, the women should also respect this. This is also not about Kannadiga issue as some stupid politicians from Karnataka claim and they should shut their mouths and not interfere in religious issues. Respect your religion. Otherwise God will not forgive u.

This has got nothing to do with upper caste and lower caste. Shows how ill-informed you are about LORD Ayyappa.
He is the one who does not discriminate against any caste.

It is not foolish world my dear. It is you, who are foolish!

You can worship you wife as godess. No one has any objection to that. But religion is based on faith and it has certain customs and tradition, which have to be followed by the believers. I am talking about believers and not the atheists like you.

Please do not confuse the issue. There is no higher caste - lower caste issue here at all. In Sabarimala, Individuals of all communities and faiths and strata of society can come and take Darshan. It is the 41 day ritual which needs to be followed. This involves doing daily Pooja etc. Women cannot do Poojas and holy rituals during the menstruation period of their month. Hence they would not be able to do the 41 day rituals and hence Women of a menstruating age group are asked to avoid Sabarimala
