How can god practice inequaity to human beings. A female is the one who brings a male into this world. How can Lord Aiyappa discriminate against women.
If he was a brahmachari, then onl those girls shuld be barred entry who would like to marry the lord. I guess all others should be allowed to worship.
And if Lord Aiyappa himself told his followers to bar entry of women, he has done an act unbecoming of god.
I firmly believe that such rules have been made by male priests to implement their dominance in the temple.
Such non-sense rules have to go away. Well done Jaymala.. lets weed out these rules and make our religion more tolerant and humanitraian. One that does not discriminate people on the basis of their sex.

You are not even an ordinary Hindu, let alone a staunch Hindu! You do not know nothing about Hindusim.
If it is a question of gender bias, then how come that the temple authorities allow entry of girls below 10 years of age and women after 50. Ponder over it. To reach any conclusion, you will have to know the traditions and customs of temples in Kerala. Without knowing those, don't venture to comment upon any topic.
