jayamala episode
by c.r.chandrasekaran on Jul 05, 2006 07:01 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

What is wrong if the idol is touched by women folk or for that matter even by men ? Why shouldn't women of all ages go on pilgrimage to SABARIMALA ? If they, whomsoever they are, bar the women of certain age group for the natural involuntary monthly occurances, what answer do they have for involuntary occurances for men over which they also have no control ? I mean night pollutions for men. In every religion such kind of idiosincracies do exist which it is high time now to be eschewed. In any event I am proud as an Hindu to openly discuss with a view to erasing this kind of discrimination against women. As a first step. one or two days a week, entry to the temple should be arranged exclusive for women.

You are not a Hindu man. Change your name from Chandrasekhar to some Joseph or Mathew.

In the name of modern outlook, you will to temple without taking bath with chappels on. For you, there is nothing wrong in that. But for million of believers, it matters.

So better change your religion rather than trying to cleanse Hindusim. We have enough of it.

Those who do not belive in the tradition, should not remain in its fold.

I think instead of Mr. Chandrashekran, you should be barred of Hinduism.!!!!
Like it or not, you are just one of those Popat panchis (Parrots can mug too, like you) who had always opposed the people to look into other directions.
From Jagatguru Adi Shankara, Sant Gyaneshwar, Tukaram, Swami Vivekanand to Sai Baba etc, etc. All these greats had to fight the Parrot priests like you to bring in some new, to change the systems. But nevertheless, they come out as winners. Just because:
"Sachai Chup nahin sakti banawat ke usoolo se"
