Aren't Women humen beings?
by Krishnadas Vasudevan on Jul 05, 2006 05:52 PM   Permalink

It is a matter of faith.

If you believe in lord Ayyappa, you do it and follow the traditions practicing over there. Instead of that, simply saying, that I'm a devote and breaching the code of conduct prevailing over there in the name of descrmination is absolutely immature and a self created heroism.

If any one who knows about the story about Lord Ayyappa won't say banning of Women in the temple premises is descrimination.

Again the question can arise, if women are allowed in side the temple, what will happen? The answer is , as I said in the begining, if you believe in the god follow relegiously, if not why to go all the way to that ayyappa temple located in a dense forest a make such hue and crys.
